Dreams of Ink

I figured I would make a little post with my Ally. Things have been hectic around here. We are still waiting to hear about the house, and Melina has been working a lot more. We haved been working on getting a website set up for Melina so she can show some of her work.
Lady had to go to the vet a couple weeks back. She had hematoma on her ear. She has been doing pretty good, but the medicine she is on makes her very hungry and thirsty.
Other than that things have been good. Hope everyone is doing good!

I’ve really been slacking on the comics and writing anything here. I guess I have been playing video games a little too much. I’ll see if I can put them on the shelf a little more often and get some drawing time in. The drawing here is just a bit of concept art for a story I want to write. Until next time…

Okay so I still do not have any comics at the moment. There has been a lot going and I just haven’t found the time and motivation to sit down and sketch up a few. I am still planning on drawing some more. Hopefully things will calm down a little bit real soon. Melina and I are hoping to get Bunny to the vet on Saturday so we can find out what the small bump on here hip is. We’re hoping that  it turns out to be nothing. Melina and I will make sure to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. Sorry for the short post and the lack of comics.

Well today is mine and Melina’s two year wedding anniversary. Even though we have been together longer than two years it’s hard to believe that we have actually been married for two years. Time really does fly by sometimes. So much has happened in the past two years, and I am glad that I have been able to share all of it with Melina. No matter if we are going through hard times, or good times I am always glad that she is there by my side. For so long now Melina has been there to help me with every part of my life. It has been a great journey so far building a life together with her, and I am looking forward to continuing to build that relationship. Melina has truly been my best friend over all the years we have been together. I feel so lucky to have someone I can talk to about anything, and it also feels great to know that she has that same confidence in me. There are so many things that Melina has helped me get through and so many things that she has helped accomplish there is no way that I could list them all. Whenever I am down about things Melina helps me to put things in perspective and regain my focus. Melina is truly the best wife and friend I could ever ask for.

These days Melina and I have become accustomed to an animal being by us no matter what we do. Whether it’s sitting down for a meal, cleaning the house, getting ready or simply watching a movie. All of our pets just can’t seem to get enough attention. Lady and Bunny are the biggest attention seekers. Like most dogs, they are always excited to be a part of almost anything. Bath time for the pets is always a chore. Somehow the dogs always know when we are about to give them a bath. First they picked up on the word so we quit saying it whenever it was time, but now they just instinctively know. Lady always grunts and groans, but eventually when you tell her to get in the tub she will hop in. Bunny has to be physically picked up and placed in the tub. Both of the dogs always try to get out of the tub before we are done giving them a bath, and both of them always make sure to shake as much as possible so Melina and I are sure to get a soaking as well. It’s always a chore to get them clean, but it’s also fun to watch them run around the house like crazy when they’re done.
